The ski season at the foot of the Matterhorn begins, as usual, very early, and never like this year has there been a great desire to get back on the slopes.

A well-established tradition, Breuil-Cervinia has always been the first station in the Aosta Valley to inaugurate the winter season and the last to close, and this year too it could not be otherwise.
The ski season at the foot of the Matterhorn will start very early: from October 16 continuously until May 1, 2022, in the stations of the middle valley of the Matterhorn the openings will respect the following dates:

Valtournenche: from 20 November to 18 April 2022.

Torgnon: from 4 to 8 December, 11 and 12 December and every day from 18 December to 3 April 2022.

Chamois: from 4 to 8 December, 11 and 12 December and every day from 18 December to 3 April 2022.
