Maxiavalanche 2023

Maxiavalanche can be defined as a “shorter” Mégavalanche. It’s a Marathon Downhill with Mass Start, taking place on a 1000 / 1500m drop descent in some of the greatest Bike Park in Europe.
Friday and saturday morning are dedicated for free pratice, fallowed by the qualifying run on saturday afternoon to get your position on your starting group of sunday according to your riding level. Two race runs on sunday gives the ranking for the stage.

Friday

Saturday
Qualifications and positioning race

8:00 am – 11:30 am : Welcome of the comptetitors, technical and administrative control — Fuvinie
8:30 am – 11:30 am : Official practices – Frame plates mandatory

From 12:00 am : Bording by numbers order.
Placing of the competitors on the starting lines 30 minutes before starts.

1:00 pm : Start of the 1st positioning race from N° 1 to 99
1:20 pm : Start of the 2nd positioning race N° 101 to 199
1:40 pm : Start of the 3rd positioning race N°201 to 299
2:00 pm : Start of the 4th positioning race N° 301 to 399
2:20 pm: Start of the EBIKE positioning race N°401 to 450

6:00 pm : Results of the positioning races and qualification
7:00 pm : Attribution of the starting line letters stickers & aperitif – Race office
