On the longest day of the year, marking the beginning of summer, the Cervino Mountain Music Festival arrives in Breuil-Cervinia (Valtournenche), an extraordinary event nestled among the peaks of Valle d'Aosta aimed at engaging the audience in a breathtaking setting, exploring the mountains beyond the typical winter season while enjoying blues and jazz against the backdrop of the stunning scenery. On Friday, June 21, the summer solstice celebration will feature three internationally acclaimed artists on stage: a major figure from the cinema accompanied by his inseparable 8-piece band, Russell Crowe & The Gentleman Barbers; one of Italy's most renowned trumpeters with his ensemble, the Fabrizio Bosso Quartet; and an Italian guitar talent, Luca Stricagnoli.

On the stage set up in Breuil-Cervinia, from late afternoon onwards, the three artists will enchant the audience with their music surrounded by an unparalleled natural landscape. Russell Crowe & The Gentleman Barbers will kick off their extensive summer tour in Italy at the Cervino Mountain Music Festival, revisiting numerous milestones in music history and breathing new life into iconic songs through fresh - and unexpected - arrangements. Fabrizio Bosso, with his Quartet, will pay tribute to the musical genius of Stevie Wonder: the energy, vitality, and expressive power of the American artist's most famous songs combined with Bosso's trumpet technique and unique lyricism, the care in the arrangements, and the personality of each member of the quartet will make this live performance truly unique and unrepeatable. Luca Stricagnoli will showcase his fingerstyle on the stage of the Cervino Mountain Music Festival, a style that has led him to perform live in every corner of the globe, making him one of the best guitarists in the world in his genre.

In the afternoon of Friday, June 21, as a preview of the festival, Russell Crowe & The Gentleman Barbers will play three songs directly from the Panoramic Terrace of the Matterhorn Glacier Paradise (Piccolo Cervino), located at an altitude of 3,883 meters, for the highest altitude blues/rock performance in the world. An exclusive and unprecedented performance (not open to the public) in a highly evocative atmosphere.
