Snowboard Cross returns to the foot of the Matterhorn: two races, twice the adrenaline!

Two races, two world-class battles, one extraordinary setting. The excitement of the Snowboard Cross World Cup returns to Breuil-Cervinia, bringing one of the most adrenaline-fuelled disciplines in winter sports back to the spotlight, with spectacular jumps, daring overtakes, high speeds and thrilling finishes decided in the final metres.

On the legendary Piste 26, beneath the majestic and unmistakable peak of the Matterhorn, the world’s best riders are ready to offer spectators a double dose of elite international snowboard action. Two opportunities to experience the intensity of the competition up close and witness breathtaking battles where every turn can make the difference. Qualifying takes place on Friday 11 December, with finals on Saturday 12 December for the first race, followed by a second event on Sunday 13 December, with the entire competition taking place in a single day.

At the heart of Cervino Ski Paradise, the World Cup takes centre stage once again, kicking off a new and exciting seasonand the first valuable World Cup points up for grabs, for a weekend of sport and entertainment that confirms Breuil-Cervinia’s place among the leading venues on the international circuit.

A pre-race celebration to enjoy together

The World Cup atmosphere will start building on Friday 11 December at 6:00 pm, when fans, families and curious visitors will have the chance to meet the snowboard cross stars during the bib presentation ceremony, held in the charming church square.

Adding to the excitement will be a DJ set, transforming the centre of Breuil-Cervinia into a lively meeting place and celebration, welcoming athletes and spectators alike and marking the arrival of the World Cup in style.

An unforgettable spectacle up close

This major international event is within everyone’s reach, even for those without skis on their feet. Piste 26, the venue for both World Cup races, is located just a short walk from the Plan Maison chairlift departure station, making it easy for spectators to reach the course and experience every moment of the competition up close.
