Breuil-Cervinia gets back on tracks: accessible roads, several activities and lift facilities opened
Two days after the wave of bad weather, Breuil-Cervinia gets back up and looks at the future. It will takes few more days to completely get back to normal, in the meantime many public and private activities are opening again. Accommodation facilities and shops not damaged by water and debris reopen, today (Tuesday) ski facilities are regularly operating. In Breuil-Cervinia the lifts to Plateau Rosa, Mattherhorn Alpine Crossing and the summer ski are opened.
The road to the village is regularly opened. In the centre of Breuil-Cervinia today at 7:00 am the restoration works restarted, to make the town shine again and getting in the heart of the summer season. The community showed itself united and cooperative since the first day. There are also several guests of the resort that are willing to help as volunteers.
Cervinia people are ready to warmly welcome tourists and look at the next two months with optimism.
