Cervinia from October 1st opens the longest winter season ever.

New home of the Downhill World Cup, Breuil-Cervinia anticipates the opening of the lifts to 1 October.

Waiting for the weather conditions to allow the lifts to be put into operation on the Italian side, which extends from 2'050 meters in the village of Cervinia to 3'899 in the Gobba di Rollin, from Saturday 1 October it will be possible to ski on the glacier, Swiss.

When the weather permits, the Bike Park, one of the most famous in the Alps, will reopen on the Italian side: bikers will be able to take advantage of the fabulous tracks between Plan Maison and Breuil-Cervinia and enjoy the splendid autumnal setting of the Cervino Ski Paradise, with a ticket daily proposed at the promotional cost of € 15.00. The network of routes will remain open as long as the safety conditions of the routes allow it.

On 29 and 30 October and on 5 and 6 November, then, the area will host the World Cup races, with two men's and two women's downhill runs. On these dates, if the ski area is open to skiing, access to the lifts will be limited. The Plan Maison-Cime Bianche Laghi cable car will in fact be reserved for spectators in possession of the access ticket to the World Cup Parterre, while the Cime Bianche Laghi - Plateau Rosa cable car will be used exclusively by athletes.

Among the novelties of the Cervino Ski Paradise season, in Valtournenche we note the new Gran Sometta chairlift, a six-seater facility with a protective dome that replaces the ski lift of the same name, while in Cervinia the new slope no. 34 will connect the town of Cielo Alto to the start of the Bardoney ski lifts and a new covered treadmill will come into operation at the Cretaz magic carpet.

From September 30th from 13:00 to 16:00, the purchase of seasonal skipasses can also be made at the Breuil - Cervinia ticket offices.
